As a former hospitalist PA and cardiology professional with almost a decade of experience, Badri Rashid witnessed firsthand the detrimental effects of inadequate support and understanding of medical care plans for patients at home. Many individuals were admitted to the hospital due to a lack of proper assistance, resulting in the deterioration of their health and well-being. Language and cultural barriers further exacerbated the situation, leading to a diminished comprehension of medical care plans and subsequent hospitalizations.
